invisible reality's integrities
"The almost
totally invisible, nonsensorial, electromagnetic womb (sheath of
environmental evolution's reality) phase into which humanity is now
being born (after two million years of ignorant gestation) is as yet
almost entirely uncomprehended by humanity. 99.9 percent of all that is
now transpiring in human activity and interaction with Nature is taking
place within the realms of reality which are utterly invisible,
inaudible, unsmellable and untouchable by human senses. The invisible
reality has its own behavioral rules which are entirely transcendental
to man-made laws and evolution limitations. The invisible reality's
integrities are infinitely reliable. It can only be comprehended by
metaphysical mind, guided by bearings toward something sensed as truth.” - Buckminster Fuller

Paul Hawken
The first living cell came into being nearly 40 million centuries
ago, and its direct descendants are in all of our bloodstreams. Literally you
are breathing molecules this very second that were inhaled by Moses, Mother
Teresa, and Bono. We are vastly interconnected. Our fates are inseparable. We
are here because the dream of every cell is to become two cells. And dreams
come true. In each of you are one quadrillion cells, 90 percent of which are
not human cells. Your body is a community, and without those other
microorganisms you would perish in hours. Each human cell has 400 billion
molecules conducting millions of processes between trillions of atoms. The
total cellular activity in one human body is staggering: one septillion actions
at any one moment, a one with twenty-four zeros after it. In a millisecond, our
body has undergone ten times more processes than there are stars in the
universe, which is exactly what Charles Darwin foretold when he said science
would discover that each living creature was a “little universe, formed of a
host of self-propagating organisms, inconceivably minute and as numerous as the
stars of heaven.” - Paul Hawken

Reminder
"I
am reminded that death, like love, is intimate, and that intimacy is
the condition of the deepest learning. I am reminded, too, of the
simplicity of the true teacher, and the power of story to include us in a
web of connection far more profound than the superficial things that
divide us. Ultimately, death is a close and personal encounter with the
unknown. Many of those who have died and been revived by the skills of
science tell us that the experience has revealed to them the purpose of
life. This is not to become wealthy or famous or powerful. The purpose
of every life is to grow in wisdom.” ~ Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D.

Threshold
“No man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of your knowledge. The teacher who walks in the shadow of the temple, among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his lovingness. If he is indeed wise he does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind.” ~ Kahlil Gibran

The Quantum Spirit
Broadly speaking, although there are some differences, I think
Buddhist philosophy and Quantum Mechanics can shake hands on their view
of the world. We can see in these great examples the fruits of human
thinking. Regardless of the admiration we feel for these great thinkers,
we should not lose sight of the fact that they were human beings just
as we are.”

Thread
It goes among things that change.
But it doesn't change.
People wonder about what you are pursuing.
You have to explain about the thread.
But it is hard for others to see.
While you hold it you can't get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get hurt
or die; and you suffer and get old.
Nothing you do can stop time's unfolding.
You don't ever let go of the thread."
