Four Recognitions

1)    Impermanence:  Every experience is transcient and ever changing
2)    Dissatisfaction:  To the degree that you try to hold to or grasp any changing experience, you will experience suffering.  This is like psychic rope burn.
3)    Selflessness:  Upon careful examination, every experience, and every experiencer, dissolves.  It is impossible to find any enduring separate self in this ceaseless flow of energy-information that weaves an endless field of interdependencies.
4)    You will begin to glimpse a dimension of mind that is empty, clear, and unimpeded like the sky.  This quality of boundless, clear awareness is the true home and essence of mindfulness."
