Moctezuma's Dying Words
The long, long cycles, two, four, eight, pass away, and I see the tribes newly risen, like the trodden grass, and in their midst a Priesthood and a Cross. An age of battle more, and lo! There remains the Cross, but not the priests; in their stead is FREEDOM and GOD.
Cherish these words, O Tula; repeat them often, make them a cry of the people, a sacred tradition; let them go down with the generations, one of which will, at last, understand the meaning of the words FREEDOM and GOD, now dark to my understanding; and then, not till then, will be the new birth and new career."

MLK
“Power without love is reckless and abusive,
and love without power is sentimental and anemic.
Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice,
and justice at its best is power
correcting everything that stands against love.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.

No credit
“I claim credit for nothing! Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible player.”
— Albert Einstein
Be Kind
“Be kind,” advised Plato; “everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
Everyone we meet is privately fighting a hard battle. Wisdom, then, dictates I always keep in mind each man is nothing but a variation of myself. I strive therefore to judge no man, woman or child. After all, what do I really know . . . what do I really know? “For many people, the more you learn, the more you realize how little you actually know. Perhaps the highest wisdom boils down to this: show me a guy with a “big-head” and I’ll show you a guy with a “small-mind.” Be humble! Besides, who really knows?"

Ouroboros
The Ouroboros symbolizes anything that dines on itself for existence, whether that be a serpent or a mind.

Awareness
“Awareness is like a beam of light
that shines endlessly into space.
We only perceive that light when it is reflected
off some object and consciousness is produced...
Awareness is the light by which we see the world...
We mistake the clear light of pure awareness
for the shadows that it casts in consciousness...
We forget that we are the light itself
and imagine that we are the densities
that reflect the light back to us.”

Thoughts into deeds
“The thought manifests as the word;
The word manifests as the deed;
The deed develops into habit;
And habit hardens into character;
So watch the thoughts and their ways with care,
And let them spring from love,
Born out of compassion for all beings.
As the shadow follows the body,
as we think, so we become.”
~ The Buddha
House Made of Dawn
In the house made of dawn.
In the story made of dawn.
On the trail of dawn.
Her feet, our feet, restore.
Her limbs, our limbs, restore.
Her body, our body, restore.
Her mind, our mind, restore.
Her voice, our voice, restore.
With beauty before her, with beauty before us.
With beauty behind her, with beauty behind us.
With beauty above her, with beauty above us.
With beauty below her, with beauty below us.
With beauty around her, with beauty around us.
With pollen beautiful in Her voice, with pollen beautiful in our voices
It is finished in beauty.
It is finished in beauty.
